H-J Colston-Inge is Joint CEO of Chopsticks Club and a recognised speaker on China. Since 1993, she has built cultural literacy around China through executive training, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and public events, working across both corporate and educational settings. She designed and delivered a “Doing Business in China” course at Pearson Business School and was invited to meet President Xi Jinping during his 2015 UK state visit in recognition of her contribution to China–UK relations. She holds a degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Durham.

Theresa Booth
Director & founding Trustee of Engage with China and Joint CEO of Chopsticks Club
Theresa has worked with China since 1983, including five years living in the country in the 1990s. During that time she founded, grew, and sold China’s first sandwich business, taught English to trainee teachers and the local business community in rural Hubei, and authored a French-language Mandarin textbook. Alongside her role at Engage with China, she is Joint CEO of Chopsticks Club, the UK’s longest-established China–UK professional network, and a trustee of the Mulan Foundation Network, which recognises the global achievements of Chinese women. She is a qualified lawyer with a background in corporate finance and holds a master’s degree in Energy, Environmental Technology and Economics.
